About The Migration Course
Online over Zoom.
Specifically for writers partway through a long-form project, this workshop mixes the generative experience you know and love with the critical seminar style you might expect from traditional workshops. Each writer will be the focus of an hour of discussion on up to 50 (or at least 30) pages of prose —stories, chapters, and essays are all fair game!
Participants will receive in-text notes and a brief letter from their fellow participants as well as more extensive edits and suggestions from Sammi. In class prompts are tailored to each group and focus on revision technique.
