What if

Isn’t it delicious when a piece of writing speculates itself? What if you could write about a story, a character imaging itself— other characters, the progression of its own body and text? What does it mean for a text to include the ‘what if…’ questions? Maybe even a piece of writing isn’t so sure; maybe it, too, asks what others are thinking, what’s going to happen next.
